This 5 hour course combines the requirements of the Maryland Handgun Qualification License (HQL) with that of the Utah Concealed Weapon Permit (CFP). 4 hours in the classroom and an hour on the range will enhance your knowledge of how a handgun functions and how to use it safely. In this course we will review:
- Maryland, Utah and Federal gun laws
- Basic Safety Rules
- Firearm Types and Actions
- Ammunition Function and Selection
- Malfunctions and Stoppage Drills
- Use of Deadly Force
- Interaction with Law Enforcement
- Interstate Travel with Firearms
